Concern or Complaints

LAW is committed to upholding the high standards in accordance with its Code of Conduct and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and Sexual Harassment Policy. This means acting with integrity and with the highest professional standards. All LAW staff are required to sign a Code of Conduct.  LAW also strives to deliver the highest quality of service to all its clients and beneficiaries, and we would like to hear from you if you have any concerns about our operations and/or our staff. As well as clients and beneficiaries, we would also be pleased to hear from our partners, suppliers, contractors, consultants, recruitment candidates, outreach workers, volunteers, staff and former staff. 

If you know or suspect of any misconduct, please contact us so that we can take some action and address the issue quickly.

Examples of issues include:  

  • All forms of abuse and exploitation especially sexual exploitation, harassment and abuse 
  • Corruption 
  • Fraud 
  • Bullying and/or harassment 
  • Discrimination based on any characteristics

Anonymous reporting: It is possible to report anonymously but we will not be able to let you know how we are responding, ask for further information or offer you any support, so please do provide as much information as possible, so that we can follow up.  If you choose to share your personal information, then these details are protected in line with Swiss Data Protection law. 

Once you have reported to us, this will be reviewed, and a dedicated internal team member at HQ will follow up on the information you have provided. If we have your contact details, you will receive an acknowledgement of the complaint within 5 days and overall findings at the end of the process.  We aim to conclude our follow-up within 90 days.
