On 27 June 2024, LAW participated in the Swiss Peace Partners workshop on Myanmar, which took place in Geneva, Switzerland. The meeting, arranged by the Swiss Embassy in Yangon and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform brought together a number of organisations working on a diverse range of issues related to Myanmar.
LAW presented its critical work supporting Rohingya participation in ongoing international justice processes, including the case between The Gambia and Myanmar at the International Court of Justice on the application of the Genocide Convention,  and the ongoing investigation of Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in the situation of Bangladesh/ Myanmar.
LAW was also able to discuss its vital work enhancing and supporting the documentation of serious human rights violations and international crimes across post-coup Myanmar, especially conflict-related sexual violence, as well as LAW’s support and empowerment for survivors and grassroots organisations in pursuing justice.
